Personal & Professional Details

My name is David Monks.

I have been both involved and interested in professional and personal aspects of the therapeutic and healing world for many years. For the main part this has been in London, but for the last ten years I have been living and working in Bedford.

I work with many people from a rich diversity of cultures, backgrounds and circumstances. My interest in music, sound and the voice originated in early childhood and is a major feature of my life. I feel fortunate that I can use my interests, knowledge and experience in a therapeutic setting.



My qualifications and memberships associated with my therapeutic and healing work are:

MA in Psychotherapy and Healing - Middlesex University
Study undertaken with the Society for Psychology and Healing
CBT/CAT/Mindfulness CBT Certificate as a Postgraduate add on module to the MA.
MBACP (Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)
MNFSH (Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers
MBRCP (Member British Register of Complementary Practitioners)
