Voice & tone as energy healing
I use sound to affect change through a dialogue of pure sound that mirrors the way I work as a psychotherapist. Ideally this sound is a series of pure tones delivered through my voice which has two aspects of intention. The first is to bring about change through the experience of the sound itself, and secondly to use sound and its vocabulary to engage in a therapeutic sound dialogue. This involves both a conversation in tone and sound and a toning together to entrain and harmonise. Working this way also increases awareness of the sounds made in the unique conversations of psychotherapy.
The healing effect of making these sounds is not due simply to the affect of the notes themselves. Moreover it is the affect of the harmonics generated by making them, the intent behind them and the affect of listening to them.

For psyche and body are not separate entities but are one and the same life.

When we work with the psyche and the body's energy system concurrently, there is a powerful therapeutic synergy that is not present when working with the psyche alone or with the body alone.
